Simply the best!

As a baby I was bought to the upstairs clinic; I lived in Broomfield Avenue 46 –54 and played on the “swings n fings” which were then located where we now play mini golf. I remember the super museum and all the grandeur; enjoying the treats in the café. Marrying a GI in 67 and moving “round” the world, we revelled in one year 76 – living up the road so my 3 children learned to love Broomfield Park. Our children now live in Nz and USA; our 4 grandsons love visiting Broomfield on a daily basis when they stay with us. Of all the parks/play areas anywhere, Broomfield is THE BEST BY FAR. We all deplore the state of the once-glorious useful house and it we were billionaires would delight in funding ……. However we are both devastated and thrilled to have the opportunity to actually visit today and will continue to advocate strongly to all and sundry for something to actually happen. My paternal great uncle Edward Finch was, Curator of the Museum at one time.
