Broomfield House - Great to see it restored

My memories of Broomfield House go back to about 1956 when I used to travel to school at St Monicas in Winchmore Hill from Muswell Hill. We often used walk across the park and at weekends visited the museum in the house itself. I seem to remember a lot of natural history stuff in there and I'm sure that I remember a bee-hive which was let into the front window, the rear of which was inside the museum so you could see what was going on. I remeber lots of dark panelled wood and a lovely staircase. The other happy memory is fishing for minnows and sticklebacks in the pond at the front. I moved to Gloucestershire in 1958 when I was 10 and haven't seen it since - it would be great to see it restored.
